READY for the Future Day Year 9 Virtual Work Experience
Thursday 5 May 2022 Lancaster Academy gave all the Year 9 students the opportunity to work on their virtual work experience, collaborating their ideas with 8billionideas providing solutions to better our evolving economy and communities.
Students throughout the day where using their READY attributes to pinpoint real life problems, understanding how technology can be used as a tool, building prototypes, marketing the concepts and finally understating the art of pitching for entrepreneurs to invest in their idea. The students of Lancaster were highly engaged, interested in making a change and most importantly aspiring to challenge themselves out of their comfort zone to compete with others to be the best. Following on from this experience, students will begin thinking about their potential pathways in preparation for their next journey whether it is going to college or applying for an apprenticeship.
Well done, we are very proud of you all, Mr.Damani Year 9 Achievement Leader.
